Product Details

A running change has been brought to the 2004 Outlander/Outlander MAX during production.

The old CDI box P/N 420664280, has ben replaced with P/N 420664285.

The following aditional parts (sold separately) are required to replace the old CDI (P/N 420664280) with the new (P/N 420664285).
- 6-pin connector (P/N 710000503),
- seal (P/N 710000402),
- terminals (P/N 409012100) (6).

The new CDI box is wired differently than the old version CDI box. Therefore, in order to install the new CDI box on 2003 and 2004 first series units, wire the new connector according to the illustration above; if not, the unit will not run, the CDI box will be damaged and the fuse will keep on blowing.
