Honda - Band, Harn, (150Mm) - 90676-SA8-003

20 year old EU2000i gen/inverter would not start I checked all components downloaded a manual. This project has been year on going I love a challenge. I disassembled the gen replaced most worn components new piston rings oil slinger the engine would still not start replaced coil, pulse gen,/ignition module checked stator was good with no avail low oil sender shown good but replaced. Anyway I went thru wiring harness the gen/inverter would start then stop I had an intermittent oil sender ground dissembled the carb side air cover to found a chafed wire repaired wire with heat shrink tubing reassembled. Now works fine. Hope your problem is simpler to fix than mine.
