I bought my 1993 XR250R new in summer of '92. I don't ride it much anymore, but I won't sell it either. Runs like a champ, but the chain slider finally fell apart. I was able to slide the new one in position without any swingarm or chain disassembly at all.

1) Remove the 2 Phillips head screws and retain the metal caps from the old one.
2)Slide the new one into position ensuring the alignment notch at the front of the slider fits over the tab on the swingarm.
3) Replace the metal caps and screws.
