Kymco - Cable Inner - Complete Cable Only - 44831-KFA6-900

My speedometer stopped displaying my speed. I tried unplugging the cable and re attaching it; it only worked for a few days. I unscrewed the cable from the front wheel hub, and pulled on the inside filament, a section came right out since it broke. Replacement was average difficulty: I had to remove the handle bar cover, rear, first. Even though all the screws were out, the rear did not separate from the front cover: both covers have plastic tabs that meet together at a metal junction that is part of the fork. It took quite a bit of prying with various screwdrivers working as wedges. The plastic is very fragile so be careful. Once separated, the "dashboard" is exposed: little room to work in, countless fragile wires and connectors. Find where the speedometer cable screws into the "dashboard", unplug, and pull out from under the wheel well. Install new cable and route it through the bottom up through the headset/fork bearing assembly.
