Polaris - Socket, Headlight - 0453140

My client brought me a Polaris Phoenix 200 with various issues, one of which was a completely missing headlamp assembly. The wiring harness was still there, but the rubber boot was shot. Adept Powersports had the very best prices for this assembly and its subcomponents, and the package arrived relatively quickly.
I had already removed the snap-in headlight mount from the body, so it was fairly quick work to assemble the wiring harness, bulbs, etc.
The only snag that I encountered was that the complete assembly did not include the bulb snap-bail - the little piece of spring wire that holds the bulb in place. I used my wire-forming tool and some bailing wire to make one, which worked perfectly. Once I attached the headlamp assembly to the body panel, I plugged in the harness, tested the lamps, and then snapped it all into place.
I'm very pleased with Adept Powersports, and will buy items here again.
