Triumph - Level, Sender, Fuel, Tank. - T2400061

Well, it started with me obtaining a really good deal on a very n ice '96 Triumph Trophy. It had some glitches, but I'm handy, right? Heh, heh.. I got it running well enough to chance a 700 mile weekender, during which it had the annoying habit of suddenly dying with no warning nor apparent cause. Back home, I determined that, upon disconnecting the primary wires to one coil, nothing happened. Spark was, at best intermittent. So, I concluded one coil was bad. Item one on my previous order. That seems to have worked out well, but during the trip I noticed the fuel gauge was also intermittent (a recurring theme on this bike, it turns out), hence this order. Note that the level sender INCLUDES the gasket, so that was unneeded. Well, that worked out well, too!. So I'm happy, right? Well.... once I got it all back together- no mean feat with all that plastic, I discovered a constant stream of bubbles in the coolant overflow tank. Not sure what I'll do about the obvious blown head gasket. That project would make this one a relative walk in the park.

But at least I know where to get parts! Thanks. Tom
