Triumph - Lever, Clutch, Adj/Polished - T2040351

I have a 98 Triumph Tbird that was accidentally dropped at the garage I kept it at. The gear shift and clutch handle were bent and needed to be replaced. The clutch was easily done in a few minutes as it was hydraulic and needed only one nut and bolt, however the gear shift was another story. I thought it too would be a breeze but the bolt connecting the foot peg housing must have been treated because after turning the hex bolt a few times it locked up, cold welding itself to the connector. I had to saw the bolt off to get the peg clear and now am waiting on their replacement to come in. Just glad I had turned the bolt enough to get the saw blade in between the plate and the bolt head. Reassembling the peg and shifter should be easy once the part arrives.
