Triumph - Slsh Cut Hi Flow Silencers Lng - A9608140

I chose to replace the original silencers on my 2013 Triumph America due to them being so quiet. The replacement was extremely easy. Removed the bolt on the hanger, loosened the clamp tying to the exhaust pipe and slipped them right off. Just the reverse in putting the new ones on. Only hard part was putting some high temperature sealant around the exhaust pipe before sliding the new silencers on. Kinda messy because you basically have to spread it using your finger but, it wiped off pretty well.

The new sound is very throaty. Will have to take it to a dealer and have the "mapping" adjusted because the bike now backfires when you let off on the throttle.
