When I was in the fifth grade I had a gocart. The go cart was a blast , but I wanted a mini bike too. I would leave the sears catalog open to the mini bike page hoping my dad would get me one. One day he brought home a 1973 (1972?) Yamaha GT80!! I loved that bike. Way more than a mini bike!! I learned to use a clutch and would be gone for hours riding in the gully near our house. Boys do not grow up "normal" unless they have a dirt bike. 40+ years later I still miss my bike. I bought a 1980 GT80 and repainted it to look like my old bike. Just looking at the neat stripes and color combination takes me back to when I was a kid.
