I installed so far it’s so good it’s been 2 weeks
Plug and play. It even lined up to the original mounting bolts. I have not had an issue after 5 months and I think the price is good. I bought this to replace the OEM because out of nowhere my battery started overheating to the point of making the seat hot, and smelling the battery burn.
Just wanted to thank Rick’s Motorsport electrics for providing me with a brand new rectifier. Ever since I purchchased this item my bike has been more responsive and running better than ever. Fast shipping and better than oem
Quality was expected for a rectifier. The mounting points are open to allow for adjustment, not sure I like that. It has stayed mounted just great after 200 miles of commuting on a 98VFR. I'd buy and suggest the purchase to a friend.

Very good quality rectifierI was looking for an aftermarket regulator/rectifier to replace the one that burned up on my 06 GSX R750. I wanted one that would be better than the stock one because it is common place for the stock one to burn up. Why would anyone buy another OEM one knowing it’s going to have the same issue again? Einstein sums it up best. "Albert Einstein Quotes. Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". That led me to reading the reviews between 2 brands for this part. In the end Ricks won out in my mind. I have installed it and been running on it for a couple weeks. It is running better now than when I bought it (not exaggerating this either). I tested the volts and ohms on it with my multi-meter and it is dead on what it should be. It looks to be a better quality part as well. The cables are both longer then stock and it appears to be made with thicker parts where needed. The only thing that I can't test for is how long it will last. Only time will tell be it is looking good so far.
