If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to accept a return for a full refund. All we ask is that you send the items back to us in the original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same original condition.

If the return is a result of our error, we will even pay for return shipping. Just let us know and we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label.

In order to return an item you will need to do the following:

• To request a return visit our Online Returns Center.
  You can also contact us by email, by phone or at cs@adeptpowersports.com to obtain an RMA number within 30-days from when your item was delivered.
  Please do not send anything back unless you have obtained a valid RMA number from us.
  
• Return the item in its original packaging (manufacturer's box, styrofoam, plastic bags, etc.)
  
• Please write the RMA number on the label used to return the item or the brown shipping box

Return Policy Details

Unless otherwise stated, you have 30 days from the date your product was shipped to get a valid RMA from our website and get your product to a shipper to return back to us. It does not have to be back in our warehouse within 30 days, but it does have to be in the possession of the shipper (along with the valid RMA). RMAs must be valid, unexpired, and issued for the product being returned. Only one RMA is issued per return. When it expires, you may no longer return your product.

Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and basic returns policy, the purchase price, minus any applicable restocking fees that may apply to OEM parts, will be credited to the original payment method used for the original purchase.

Restocking Fees - Typically there are no restocking fees on any aftermarket parts or apparel. There are however several brands, on which we are forced, by our suppliers, to charge a restocking fee. 20% restocking fee applies on returns of Brembo, BST and Marchesini brand products. 20% restocking fee also applies to most OEM part returns.

Closeout Products - Adept Powersports does not accept returns or exchanges of items purchased on closeout. In some cases, we may allow a closeout item to be returned for store credit. Closeout products are clearly marked as "Closeout" on the product detail pages.

Special Order Products - We cannot accept returns on Special Order products. Special Order products are clearly marked as "Special Order" on the product detail pages.

"Return to sender" packages - For packages that were delivered and subsequently "returned to sender", any return shipping costs charged to us by the freight carrier will be subtracted from your refund.

Refused Deliveries - Refused delivery will be treated as a return. Any return shipping costs charged to us by the freight carrier will be subtracted from your refund as well as a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be applied to all refused deliveries without exception. If you would like to return an item simply visit our website or give us a call to request an RMA number.

Please allow up to 14 days from shipment for your return to arrive at our warehouse. Note: Delivery times vary based on shipper selected by you. Your return will be processed within 5-10 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) after receipt of the item.

The risk of loss for the product being returned shall be with you at all times during the shipment of such product to the returns center. Please make sure the return shipment is fully insured, as packages do get damaged and lost. We do not accept any liability on returned damaged merchandise.

Please note that all items will have to include all original packaging in good condition: free from scratches, blemishes, tears, dents, and markings - including writing of any kind. If AdeptPowersports.com receives your return with damaged or missing the original packaging the item will be rejected.

OEM Parts Returns

OEM parts (i.e. parts manufactured by Aprilia, BMW, BRP, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Kymco, Polaris, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha or any part sold by an OEM manufacturer as an OEM part) are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns on OEM parts must be requested within 30 days of the delivery date. You may return product(s) for credit or exchange only if the sealed package containing the product(s) is unopened. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable on OEM part orders. OEM part orders can be cancelled within 1 (one) hour of placing the order.

Why does AdeptPowersports.com charge restocking fees on returned OEM parts? Many OEM parts are special ordered from the manufacturer and returned by us to the manufacturer upon your return. In doing so face two charges: the cost to return the item to the manufacturer and a restocking fee charged to us by the manufacturer. AdeptPowersports.com will cover this return shipping expense but we pass on a portion of the restocking fee charged to us by the manufacturer.

If you decide to cancel your OEM parts order, you must do so within one hour of placing the order (please see our cancellation policy). If you decide to cancel your order after this time frame and before it ships, we will refund your original payment method including the shipping & handling charges minus the 20% restocking fee.

Returns on OEM electrical parts: Like your local dealer, AdeptPowersports.com is unable to accept returns on OEM electrical parts. Certain aftermarket items are exempt from this condition - please contact us before returning electrical items. Includes but not limited to: CDI Units, ECUs, rectifiers, relays, igniters, sensors, voltage regulators and stators.

Returns on OEM decals: Like your local dealer, AdeptPowersports.com is unable to accept returns on any OEM decals, decal kits or stickers. There are no exceptions to this policy. All OEM decals are non returnable.

Returns on OEM tools: AdeptPowersports.com is unable to accept returns on any OEM tools. There are no exceptions to this policy. All OEM tools are non returnable.

Other exclusions: OEM BMW painted parts are not returnable. Printed materials (owners manuals, repair manuals) are not returnable.

Incorrect Items Received

Didn't receive exactly what you ordered? Don't worry we will gladly fix it! Keep in mind that manufacturers sometimes supersede a part with a compatible item that has a different part number - this is fairly common when ordering OEM parts for older machines. Sometimes parts are mislabeled by the manufacturer, or an error is made by AdeptPowersports.com or one of our suppliers in filling your order. In such cases, we will at your option either issue a complete refund to your credit card or reship your order at no expense to you. We will also send you a shipping label to return the incorrect item. Please contact our customer service for help. If you ordered an incorrect part, don't worry, it happens to everyone. Just let us know and we will help you find the correct part.

Partial Refunds / Restocking Fees

If items are returned within 30 days in original packaging, brand new and unused, a full refund will be issued.

Exceptions:

• All OEM part returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee
• Alpinestars, ICON, Brembo, BST and Marchesini brand product returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee
• Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing components, for reasons not due to our error: we may reject your return or offer a partial refund at our discretion.
• Any unopened item in original condition that is returned more than 30 days after delivery: we may reject your return or offer a partial refund at our discretion.
• Any item returned without an RMA and/or refused packages, may be charged up to 50% restocking fee or be rejected.
• Any packages "returned to sender" after the order was delivered, may be charged up to 50% restocking fee, or be rejected completely. Any return shipping charge billed to Adept Powersports will be subtracted from the refund.

Denied Returns

Below are a some reasons we may deny a return.

• We cannot accept returns without an RMA number
• We cannot accept returns that are returned more than 30 days after delivery.
• We cannot accept returns on electrical OEM parts
• We cannot accept returns without original packaging
• We cannot accept returns on used items that cannot be repackaged

Please note, in this circumstance, we may at our discretion, send the returned items back to you, or accept the return subtracting up to 50% restocking fee from your refund.
